NORMAL?

SO WHAT IS NORMAL? NORMAL FOR ME? FOR Y'ALL? I HAVE NARY A CLUE BUT AS FAR AS I'M CONCERNED AS LONG AS YOU ARENT A CANNIBAL OR HURTING KIDS AND IT'S CONSCENTUAL I DONT GIVE A HOOT WHAT ANYONE DOES! LOL

of course in the broader sense I don't want my normal to be aft and lazy, I want healthy, active and happy to be the normal I strive to achive and I'm soooooo much closer than I used to be. I actually ordered some cool tank tops and am planning on wearing one to a pagan festival at the end of august. now for me that's HUGE. I don't wear tanks in public, part of that is I was raised it's not seemly and part is I feel like a beached whale when I wear smaller revealing clothes. I still normally wear 2X tees when an xl fits fine because I just don't like to feel "on display" howver I have forced myself to start wearing tighter clothes when I venture out and that's a GOOD THING!
Photo: Run baby lemon... run!
lmao .................
on the food front I am having an allowed day and NOT stressing about it!
hamburger helper

the fair............NOT!

lets be honest I don't really enjoy the fair its self I enjoy the animals and eating (not neccesarily in that order) hmmm lets see what did I eat last year...............corn dog, taco, candy apple, fries, fish sandwich, pickle, cotton candy, hot dog and I rode ONE ride! lol spent 4 hours playin with the ponies. it was hot and not fun so I decided to skip it because all I think of is food and bad ood at that it doesn't even taste good, it's the memory filter that we see everything thru. the it was so fun when I was a kid I want my kid/nieces/nephews/god children to enjoy it like I did, but did you really or do you just think you did? lol things that make you go hmmmmmmmmmmm indeed!

no thanks, I deserve BETTER than that!!!
for todays food I had:
pecans
oatmeal
pepperoni
bologna
American cheese
scrambled eggs
Vienna sausage
bbq pork skins

onto I don't know what to think this is the just revealed new costume for Wonder Woman, i'll say it's not as horrid as those bloody awful hot pants and bolero jacket they tried a few years ago but I'm on the fence!

Comic-Con: First Wonder Woman Photo Revealed

for me Lynda Carter will always epitomize Wonder Woman!

all about the bass.........

now this is feel good done with style and sass! my new fave song! LOVE this, and it is definitely a good anthem for loving yourself at any weight!
Because you know
I'm all about that bass
'Bout that bass, no treble
I'm all about that bass
'Bout that bass, no treble...
I'm all about that bass
'Bout that bass, no treble
I'm all about that bass
'Bout that bass

Yeah, it's pretty clear, I ain't no size two
But I can shake it, shake it
Like I'm supposed to do
Cause I got that boom boom that all the boys chase
And all the right junk in all the right places

I see the magazines workin' that Photoshop
We know that shit ain't real
C'mon now, make it stop
If you got beauty beauty, just raise 'em up
Cause every inch of you is perfect
From the bottom to the top

Yeah, my mama she told me don't worry about your size
She says boys like a little more booty to hold at night
You know I won't be no stick figure silicone Barbie doll
So if that's what you're into then go ahead and move along

Because you know I'm
All about that bass
'Bout that bass, no treble
I'm all about that bass
'Bout that bass, no treble
I'm all about that bass
'Bout that bass, no treble
I'm all about that bass
'Bout that bass
Hey!

I'm bringing booty back
Go ahead and tell them skinny bitches that
No I'm just playing I know you think you're fat
But I'm here to tell ya
Every inch of you is perfect from the bottom to the top

Yeah my mama she told me don't worry about your size
She said boys like a little more booty to hold at night
You know I won't be no stick figure silicone Barbie doll
So if that's what you're into then go ahead and move along

Because you know I'm
All about that bass
'Bout that bass, no treble
I'm all about that bass
'Bout that bass, no treble
I'm all about that bass
'Bout that bass, no treble
I'm all about that bass
'Bout that bass

Because you know I'm
All about that bass
'Bout that bass, no treble
I'm all about that bass
'Bout that bass, no treble
I'm all about that bass
'Bout that bass, no treble

till the love runs out

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0OWj0CiM8WU&feature=share
my new favorite song and a good message too!
I hate drama and avoid it pretty well except there's a woman in a group i'm in who has actively been trying to get me booted for months and I have played nice. everyone openly has came to me and backed me so that's all right but I'm at a loss. I have made great efforts to be nice to her I even gave her a " gem-stone" after group the other night and the result some weird ramble about how she doesn't hate me but wants nothing to do with me and not to pm her only comment thru group page. fine so I kinda let it all out and told her it's all her and that I cant believe she deals with issues this way. she never once told me WHY she hates me and I beginning to think she's just a homophobe and me bein openly gay and happy bothers her. the scary thing is she's a therapist. WTF???
I suppose I shouldn't air my "laundry" but honestly since the dirt aint mine I'm not givin two hoots!
here's the convo...............
This is to Tim. I will always love you no matter what. Hate is not in my soul any more. When you gave me that stone first I heard in your tone and saw in your movements it will not work. But in my heart I saw the jester let’s try again and see where it takes us. I will always try again with you Tim because you’re worth it. I rarely make promises but from here on in I will try to only look at the positive memory’s we have had together and look forward to making new ones... with you. (Joke) I have a client that says kiss my ass and laughs. I don’t do that. I love you Tim and I will send you love every day as I have done in the past. Love you always. For right now please don’t pm me because I don’t trust my sense over the net. Please don’t take offence. Just post it in the group site. Love you always

  • Timothy L Martin I had no intention of pming you, I have no clue what is up with you, I never did EVER do or say anything negative to you and have went out of my way to be nice even when you wanted no part of me. you have never said what I supposedly did to offend you. I find it bizarre as a therapist this is how you approach a "problem" I have no clue what you're supposed to do with the stone I gave it to you as spirit wanted that's my part in it whether you choose to use it or toss it I don't care. you need to be an adult and actually tell me what your problem is. I'm operating in the dark and have been since the beginning of this which is ALL you. I never had anything bad to say about or to you. I'm not gong anywhere but I'm done feeling like I have to tiptoe around you. I KNOW you want me out of the group and have for some time now, I'm not sure what about me tweaks you but you might want to work on that. obviously I remind you or someone or something but I personally have nothing to do with it . I guess it's good to hash it out in the open so I have proof I'm not doing anything wrong. I hope you work everything out and get happy , we shall simply just choose to pass and repass as far as I'm concerned. you don't have to read me and I wont read for you. I absolutely refuse to let this silliness hurt the group so lets put on our big boy and girl undies and deal.
what the hell am I supposed to do with that? she actually went to the rest of the group and told them she was leaving if I stayed at the 1st of the year and they told her no way. I didn't find outany of this till recently. it's so odd and off-putting to me. my first instinct is to cuss her out but I'm TRYING to be a more positive person so I'm fighting the urge but goodness gracious how much can I take. God said to turn the other check but I aint got but two damn it!
ok enough of that crap I am going to have an enjoyable moring and that starts with my food
I am in southern heaven right now as I'm eating:
fried weiners
fried bologna
bbq pork skins
cant get much more southern than that! lolol
I also had
bologna
American cheese
spicy peanuts
sunflower kernels
pepperoni
pecans

I don't know if any of y'all watch xfacor (I don't) but alex and sierra the 2013 winners have a brand new song and video and it's wonderful! I actually stumbled across them on youtube recently and am totally in love with their cool quirky vibe!

had an ok day kinda low key I'm figuring out a small tweak for my room in order to maximize space so my soon to be gotten kitty has more room to run (safely) i'll be getting a couple of smaller bookcases and getting rid of my one old one that tends to drop shelves, the last thing we want is smooshed kitty!

on the food front I ate:
hamburger (2)
garlic bread (2 slices)
oatmeal cake (little Debbie)
cheddar/bacon pasta salad
welli guess that's it, I keep racking my brains cause I was looking gong I have to have eaten more than that but I didn't I guess I was still kinda full from my all-day dominosathon yesterday!
and now for something spiritually/emotionally DEEP!

my day off/off day

so I had a day off and use it as an off-plan day. so yes I ate off plan all day! but here's the kicker I still stayed below my allowed calories (it's BS but it makes me feel "better"  lol)
to lose 1 pound a week at my age/weight/sex I mut keep my caloric intake under 1868 a day and I almost always do, even my all day binge was only 1778 calorie so I still had 90 I didn't use!
now heres the crap part it's been a ROUGH week and I just wanted to veg/junk out and so I decided to. I did my dominos diet................:(
med 12 inch thin crust with bacon/chicken with white sauce
med 12 inch pepperoni/susahe with white sauce
chicken alfredo
parmesean bites
4 garlic butters..........
now I got this and I have eaten on it all day not in one sitting and I actually have 1/2 a pizza left but went ahead and claimed the calories anyway. the thing is I enjoyed it for a few minutes, then it was ok but by the end (I was too tired to make anything else) and that is a really good thing I want my tatse buds to change that'll make it easier to avoid those trigger foods and stick with a plan.

LMAO life's too short to take it so seriously folks , lighten up!

Friend Makin’ Mondays

Welcome to another Friend Makin’ Mondays.

If you’ve taken part in Friend Makin’ Mondays before then you are familiar with the rules. If you’re new, please take a moment to answer this week’s question on your own blog then add your link in the comments section here so we can all see your FMM questions and answers. Please invite your blog readers to add their links here too so everyone has to opportunity to be seen. The idea is to connect with other awesome bloggers so take a moment to read and comment on a couple of other posts.
This week’s topic comes from Erin at Living Made Healthy – she suggested we talk about the reasons we love living where we do now, or where we grew up. Would be great to learn a little bit about where everyone lives.
I have chosen 5 things about my home town, you can choose as many as you want.
I grew up in a small town called Baileyton Alabama so I'm about as southern as you can get. it was a dry county and I lived on a dirt road and yes I have used an out-house, milked a cow, killed/ate my own chickens, canned fruits/veggies and the like. I've also churned butter, slopped a hog and done just about anything you can think of that's a stereotype of southern living! lolol
here's a few stats................

History[edit]

Baileyton was settled in 1870 by Robert Bailey, a farmer from Georgia. A post office was established in Baileyton in 1883. The town was incorporated in 1973.[2]

Geography[edit]

Baileyton is located in northeastern Cullman County at
 WikiMiniAtlas
34°16′2″N 86°36′11″W / 34.26722°N 86.60306°W / 34.26722; -86.60306 (34.267139, -86.603018).[3]

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 5.3 square miles (13.8 km2), of which 5.3 square miles (13.6 km2) is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 km2), or 1.06%, is water.[1]
Elevation: 981 feet (299 m)

Demographics[edit]

2000 Census data[edit]

As of the census[4] of 2000, there were 684 people, 281 households, and 196 families residing in the town. The population density was 128.6 people per square mile (49.6/km2). There were 305 housing units at an average density of 57.4 per square mile (22.1/km2). The racial makeup of the town was 99.56% White, 0.29% Native American and 0.15% Asian.
There were 281 households out of which 32.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 56.6% were married couples living together, 8.2% had a female householder with no husband present, and 29.9% were non-families. 27.0% of all households were made up of individuals and 11.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.43 and the average family size was 2.93.
In the town the population was spread out with 26.6% under the age of 18, 6.1% from 18 to 24, 27.6% from 25 to 44, 26.0% from 45 to 64, and 13.6% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 37 years. For every 100 females there were 101.2 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 93.8 males.
The median income for a household in the town was $31,000, and the median income for a family was $41,563. Males had a median income of $30,083 versus $20,417 for females. The per capita income for the town was $14,696. About 10.3% of families and 16.6% of the population were below the poverty line, including 21.1% of those under age 18 and 22.5% of those age 65 or over.

our counties big claim to fame is AVE MARIA GROTTO a miniature city a catholic priest created.

Group Tours Welcomed
KGrottonown throughout the world as "Jerusalem in Miniature," is a beautifully landscaped, four-acre park designed to provide a natural setting for the 125 miniature reproductions of some of the most famous historic buildings and shrines of the world. The masterpieces of stone and concrete are the lifetime work of Brother Joseph Zoettl, a Benedictine monk of St. Bernard Abbey. Begun as a hobby, with various materials he could find, and infinite patience and a remarkable sense of symmetry and proportion, Brother Joseph re-created some of the greatest edifices of all time.

History

Brother Joseph ZoettiThe builder of the miniatures at the Ave Maria Grotto was a Benedictine Monk -- Brother Joseph Zoettl, O.S.B. Born in Landshut, Bavaria in 1878, he was maimed in an accident that gave him a hunchback, but luckily it did not hurt his ability to bend over and build the miniatures. He came to Saint Bernard Abbey in 1892. After becoming a Brother in the Benedictine Order, he was appointed to the power plant for the Abbey, and while there he developed his hobby of building miniature shrines.
In contemplating the Main Grotto, which was to be the centerpiece of the whole park, Br. Joseph had yet to decide on the type of building materials he would employ and where they would come from. A partial solution was handed to him on April 29, 1933, when there was a derailment of the L&N railroad about twenty miles away near Vinemont, Alabama. One freight car full of marble from the Gantt Quarry, Sylacauga, Alabama overturned and the marble was crushed. It was useless to the owner so he gave it to Saint Bernard. The monks went up and carted it down to Saint Bernard; it was exactly what Brother Joseph needed as the main stalactites to hang in the Great Grotto.
The material which adorned the works had been donated by people who admired and had seen the beauty in his previous works: the small grottoes enclosing Father Lawrence O'Leary's bargain statues, crucifixes, ash trays, etc. People sent colored glass, marbles, cold cream jars, punctured commode floats, wrecked marble, broken bathroom tile, costume jewelry, gifts from every state in the union and from many foreign countries.
The first replicas were erected on the monastery recreation grounds, but because of the large number of visitors, a new site was selected and on May 17, 1934 the Ave Maria Grotto was dedicated. Brother Joseph continued his work for over 40 years, using materials sent from all over the world. He built his last model, the Basilica in Lourdes, at the age of 80, in 1958.
The Ave Maria Grotto, located on the grounds of Alabama's first and only Benedictine Abbey, consists of over 125 miniatures, reproductions of famous churches, shrines and buildings. Encompassing an area of over three acres, this miniature fairyland sees visitors from all over the world.
More detailed information can be found in the book titled Miniature Miracle by John Morris sold in the Grotto gift shop.

Hope you enjoyed learning a little about my home town.
I look forward to learning some things about your home or current town. Don’t forget to come back and leave a link to your post in the comments.

the little things

sometimes we don't know what a smile, a kind word, opening a door, a hug, a compliment, or a simple comment on FB can do......so if you get the opportunity to do something kind NEVER hesitate even if 99% of folks think you're weird to that 1% you made a difference!
perfect example my friend Sasha she's an Aussie and totally FABULOUS! but today she had posted this on her FB.............
So go ahead and talk shit about me!

so you see it doesn't take much and I'm sure glad I could make someone so sweets day a bit better, so what can y'all do to change someones day? I'm off today and not leaving the house but I'm gonna make a point of complimenting or thanking anyone and anything I see online that moves me. so thank you Sasha for helping to inspire me to be kinder and reminding me that the little things matter!

now onto the mundane parts of the blog lmao
food:
this was my splurge day:
bacon and ham thin crust pizza
garlic/parm bites
garlic sauce (1)
chicken alfredo
for a total of 1120 calories
I must so I enjoyed this one even less than normal...............it took 1 1/2 hours to get here because the university was having some kind of shin-dig and I will admit I had 1 sauce because they didn't bring the 4 I asked for! lol (28 calories each) so it was cold and kinda nasty but I ate it because I blew my last $30 since I didn't feel like cooking/shopping lmao cest le vie probably a good thing since I'm goin back on a regime wed. I want be craving crappy cold pizza, but I did tip the driver well even for questionable service so hopefully it made up for his crazy day............(find the positives!)
also y'all truly NEED to watch this video I promise it'll inspire you and put a smile on your face and in your hearts!

and this one'll make you SMILE!
