Happy Monday everyone.
If you’ve taken part in FMM then you know the rules. If you’re new, please take a moment to answer this week’s question on your own blog then add your link in the comments section here so we can all see your FMM questions and answers. Please invite your blog readers to add their links here too so everyone has to opportunity to be seen. The idea is to connect with other awesome bloggers so take a moment to post your own FMM post and comment on a couple of other posts. Now it’s time for this week’s topic!
Hobbies and Games
1. Do you have a favorite board game?
monopoly is by far the most fun, I have a lord of the rings version!

2. Do you have a favorite card game?
hmmmmmmmm I used to play rook and uno when I was a child but I haven't played a card game in 30 years. I prefer Mahjong
3. Do you play games on your phone?
no I seldom even use my phone! lolol I have an env3 don't but no data plan I barely even text mayhaps once or twice a week and mayhaps a dozen calls a week.
4. Do you prefer the x-box, playstation or wii?
E. NONE of the above! lol I have NEVER owned a game system , doubt I ever will. I do play WOW (world of warcraft for the uninitiated) but that's all online.
5. Do you have a favorite outdoor hobby?
I love flower gardens and landscaping as a matter of fact I have a degree in horticulture!
6. Have you ever been geocaching?

7. What’s your favorite hobby?
I collect Elvira Mistress of the Dark memorabillia
8. Is there a hobby you would love to try but are too scared too?

I did when I was a kid but haven't done one in 30 years

Have a great day everyone, I am excited to read your answers.

the one week plan

the one week plan by yogi Cameron looks like just what i'v been needing/missing

it's actually a plan to reclaim your life in a year, it's not trendy or a quick fix it's a guide for those who long for simple health and vitality and I've been wanting it and a very sweet friend saw it on my facebook wishes and gifted it to me, thank you Kellie ever so!
a brief description........................
What if you could follow a program that, like in so many other books, helped you get results in only a couple of weeks? As with these other programs, you could lose weight, attract more beneficial relationships, and find a greater state of balance in very little time. But what if, on top of all that, the program helped you create not just a fast change, but a permanent one? What if you had a plan that has all the benefits of a short-term overhaul but with the guidance necessary to ensure that it's the last program you'll ever need?
Over two thousand years ago, the Indian sage Patanjali compiled what we now know as The Yoga Sutras, a concise text that forms the basis of everything we know today about the philosophy of the yogic path. In The One Plan, Yogi Cameron lays out a fifty-two-week structure based on Patanjali's teachings as well as the ancient medical system of Ayurveda; it delivers the proven authenticity of an ancient path but has been adapted to take your life in the modern world into account.
As a practical and accessible guide to help you improve your life, The One Plan will provide you with specific exercises and regimens for crafting an effective daily routine, tips and reminders for becoming truly grounded in that routine, real-life stories and inspiration, practical tools for responding to life's inevitable struggles and setbacks, and even a section on eating the Ayurveda way. By following the One Plan, you will live a life of health, balance, and purpose.
Your commitment to the One Plan may last fifty-two weeks, but the changes you make will last a lifetime.
so I'm going to read this and adapt it's ideas into my daily life and see what happens I have nothing to lose except faigue, anger, obesity, pain, and stress and a lifetime of wisdom to gain!
as for today I ate pretty gosh darn good!
pulled pork (YUMM)
chicken breast
sliced chicken
oatmeal
apple slices
bacon, sausage, and cheese with egg scramble
cheddar cheese
more chicken
pecans
I also got 13902 steps
a GREAT day INDEED!

a great night

I had a GREAT night! my dear sweet friend Lori's mom (no not that Lori the other one on FB lol) made me a scarf. it's handknitted skulls in rainbow colors and it's 8ft 6 inches long! it's the most tight/awesome/hot/bangin/boss/killer scarf EVER! people were trying to buy it off me all night!
apparently universally I must be doin something right, that's multiple unexpected gifts this week. and timmy is a present WHORE doesn't matter what it is, just that someone thought of me makes me all giddy with delight!
it was actually fantastic I was soooooooooo very exhausted from the last few days and the long stretch without an off day but this pepped me right up and gave me such a mood boost. I'm still walking on air! (no pics yet my camera is bein funky) and I work tonight then I'm off for three whole days from BOTH jobs! YIPPIE !!!
on the food front last night was pretty lean as I didn't have time to eat so I stopped at hardees on the way home and got....
sausage croissant
bacon sandwich
oatmeal

cheddar cheese
pecans
steak
garlic chicken breast
curry chicken

busy busy and..................BUSY!

today was very VERY busy, I had shopping, laundry, readings, and I had to work too. I got a 4 hour nap and then a 2 hour nap so timmy is beat, but alas I have readings today starting at 10am so debating another 2 hour nap but I worked all night so I'm wired.
food was so/so
shrimp
biscuit
sausage
steak
beef hot dog
chili no beans
toppings off 1 slice of pizza (cheese/pepperoni)
handful of doritos
side of meatballs no sauce
forgot to rest my pedometer so no clue but I had a truck to put away on top of a busy night so I'm sure I broke 10,000 as usual.
feelin pretty good despite the exhaustion. sometimes when life gives you lemons if you stay upbeat you get refreshing yummy lemonade!
I had ordered a set of oracle cards and a book from amazon and I was sooooo excited when it got here' we had the creator as a guest on the show. I had posted about it on FB well low and behold the book came but not the cards and I posted about making the best of it and I would simply do some "book learnin" till I got the cards in. don't y'all know she mailed me the cards bless her! so I cancelled that unshipped part of my order and told her I'd pay it forward. that same day the crows magic set I ordered as a prize for my 250th like on timothy's tarot came in and so I sent it off immediately. how's that for timing! she said I had been very helpful and active and nice on her page (I was just bein me) and that made me feel just swell. I felt like I was havin my sally field moment!

lost and found

do y'all ever lose stuff that you ALWAYS put in the same place? lmao cause I seem to. I knew I bought stamps and I always keep them in my check journal, yes I still write down EVERY transaction (my food journal should be so detailed!) they weren't there so I bought more. I still haven't found them but I found 5 books of ladybird Johnson stamps from 2012 in the back of another journal. lolol they don't even have the amount on them but I pasted 9 of em on a package and asked the postmaster if that was enough (it was)
part of why I love my roomie/bestie is her BIG heart, she takes in strays (me included!) and we added another one this week he's her sons friend a a real good kid but alas the universal timing is off-kilter. she just found out her store is closing n 4 months and she'll be out of a job she loves and now we have another teenager to take care of. I just spent all morning doing his laundry his clothes were all dumped into garbage bags (clean and dirty together) I had to go get more hangers no idea how were gonna fit em in the closet but we will, we always do! lmao
it's almost noon and I'm starving and haven't don't a blasted thing on my list and I don't have an off day till sunday. cest le vie, luckily my appointment for a 10am reading was rescheduled.
lets see what did I eat?
chicken biscuit
bologna
salt and pepper skins
peanuts
apple slices
chicken breast
chicken Caesar salad
and I got 11,124 steps

low key

low key day, plenty of rest no drama no bs..............gotta love the rare and relaxing days when they pop up! I did some bellydancing and got 7654 steps but that was it as far as physicality.
I ate ok
cracklins
bologna
Italian sausage
peanuts
chicken breast
pizza toppings (cheese, pepperoni...I tossed the crust)
sometimes it's good to have a day where I have nothing to complain or brag about! lolol

what a wonderful world

sometimes, mayhaps often-times I focus on the struggle and not the joy that is life. am I too heavy, yes, , work sucks yep, people are difficult too...........so what. it's a wonderful world and it's magic that on a rock in the middle of the vast universe life exists and that is enough!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R0xoMhCT-7A

havin a catharsis and about time too! lmao don't know whats had me down as of late but I've shed that skin and I'm SHINY once again. there's nothing that I cant accomplish and that goes for y'all as well. I'm gonna really refocus on what I can do and let what I cant fade away. it's living the serenity prayer to the ooompth degree. so with that bein said I listened to my body and ate what I was craving today.
tomato soup with wheat crackers
cracklins
Italian sausage
chicken breast
peanut butter
cole slaw
raspberries
bologna
bbq skins
parmesan and romano cheeses
I didn't wear my pedometer yesterday and I only went to the grocery store so I probably got 1000 steps if I had to guess, I did some yoga (probably 1/2 hour) and that was as physical as it got. my body needs rest right now. part of the problem is my off days have been separated for months now so I never have time to actually rest. when you work 3rd shift the 1st day is a throw away honestly by the time you get laundry, shopping, cleaning done it's gone. and sorry but 3rd shift is a completely different monster. it does not work/feel/behave like 1st or 2nd shift when it comes to days off. when my days off are separated there isn't a single day I'm not in my job. say I'm off sunday, I go in at 10pm sat night and work til 6am sunday morning then have to be back at 10pm Monday night. see what I mean mentally it's like not having a day off at all.
this should be the last wek I have to worry about that as I changed my availability starting in april to tues-sat so i'll have off every sunday and Monday. I did this because......................well it's BIG news but till it's officially announced I cant spill the beans. lets just say it's a great platform/opportunity to get out there and noticed!

y'all have a great healthy week!

what a difference a day makes

what a difference a day and a new attitude make! I decided I was gonna have a great day no matter what. no matter how horrid work might be, no matter how shitty people act, who cares? I cant control people actions but my actions are well within my grasp. it was busy, it was hectic, and most people probably couldn't have handled it buti am NOT most people. I excel at my job and I genuinely like most folks. so from now on even if it's not fair and wrong so what who promised me that rose garden? lolol
so I had a good night, the day not so much but I didn't let it bother me. I decided to eat some sausage which I seldom do and apparently my body no longer likes it. I woke up and kept havin to run to the potty every hour or so which played havoc with my sleep but all was well by the time I went to work which I'm grateful for because when you're the only cashier on a sat night there are no potty breaks.
so eating yesterday was so/so
sausage
steak
cracklins
bologna
peanut butter
ritz crackers (I tried the new bacon ones, ehhh not bad not great ,thank goodness so I wont be cravin them! lol)
donut, yep a crispy crème
bbq skins
and I was having cracklins for dinner and swallowed wrong there is nothing so bad as pork dust goin down the wrong way it expands with liquid so drinking does no good and I ended up havin to force myself to throw up what I ate just to calm it down finally. tmi? lol
I got 10142 steps

busy but good

busy but good as days go by! lolol ate well slept well and work was WORK (otherwise it'd be fun and we'd call it a hobby!)
I ate:
peanut butter
Caesar salad
sunflower kernals
pecans
steak
sausage
bacon
cracklins
garlic
I got 13467 steps
that is all....................

aftermath

the aftermath of my trying day was an I don't give an F mind set so when I got invited to lunch I went and I ate what I wanted oh it wasn't too too bad but I did have a helping of rice and 3 slices of indian bread (not sure what it's called I call it POOF bread. lol I also had a slice of pecan pie last night (not that good and I scouped the guts and left the crust and I had 1 tsp of bbq sauce on my grilled pork chops.
so I ate
chicken breast
salmon
curry chicken
chicken schwarma (spellcheck)
poof bread
pork chops
pecan pie
cucumber salad with crisp lentils
I actually forgot my pedometer but I ran around all day and I rearranged my room , moved 3 bookcases and a desk so I did pretty good on staying active.
this morning I need to clean out the tank and get it out of sight because it irks me every time I see it.
on a hateful note fred phelps died, now I was raised to not say anything about someone unless it was "nice" so here goes.................fred phelps is dead............NICE! (not even kiddin not one little bit!)
I need to get my tuckus movin and go to wal mart I need post its because I stick notes everywhere it's the only way I can remember to do everything I plan/need to, a large cork board , and some push pins. plus I suppose I should get something good and nutritional to eat BEFORE I start getting hungry! (YA THINK!) lol

what is up with................

what is up with the world?  she be CRA CRA OK! lolol
things have jut been topsy turvy and out of whack in general as of late. my leopard gecko jut up and died yesterday. he was perfectly healthy, Tuesday night he was eating crickets and running around when I left for work. wed morning he was on his back with labored breathing. I checked everything, no impaction, no tumors, no bad shed. but none the less he passed . I sat up with him till 3pm trying to figure out something, anything to no avail. before anyone gets too upset for me, I shall miss him he was adorable and a very good gecko but alas I grew up on a farm so I understand about death better than most (of course bein an orphan also plays into that) animals (and people) take ill for no reason and just go, it's a fact of life and not something I'm gonna lose it over. oh I'm bummed about losing such a sweet little guy but cest le vie that IS life!
I got plenty of wonderful support when I posted about it on FB and that is so appreciated. I also got a lot of take him to the vets office by well meaning peeps who don't quite "get" it. it's minimum $100 just to get an appointment and that's for a regular vet not a reptile specialist. you cant really force feed or hydrate a lizard like you can a mammal. once they get to the flippin over on their back stage there's virtually nothing that can be done. I shall/will/cant see pouring money down a well when I live week to week as it is. I still owe the last $100 from when I had my er visit in November, I need new work shoes, and I'm still sleeping on a mattress on the floor because I chose (that's right my choice) to spend my money elsewhere. I live pretty well and I lack for no neccesities but I have to make informed choices on occasion and this was one of them I cant spend boucou bucks on a $20 lizard that I KNEW in my bones was gonna pass anyway. part of that is farm raisin and part is having a best friend for the past 20 years who does wildlife rehab that I have helped with, watched, and even house sit with. I'm also a Gemini and I can see how things are gonna play out better than most. I refuse to feel badly because I cant shut off sentimentality and accept that sometimes fate sucks and critters die.  if it were a mammal there's lot more options but it's not like they can do exploratory surgery on a 6inch lizard  and save it. personally I'm blaming petsmart I believe in my bones it was a genetic defect because everything was perfect, the temp, humidity, water and food available and it came on so suddenly. it was definitely that and not the food (thank goodness) because I fed the spider and scorpion the same crickets purchased at the same time (and no exterminator anywhere near the house)
now that bein said emotionally whilst I can deal I did order a sub and fries during the turmoil
I ate the sub but tossed the fries as I came to my senses.
that bein said I ate........
buffalo chicken cheese-steak (8 inch) with added bacon
3 French fries
chicken breast
 bologna
peanuts
beef hot dog
chili (no beans)
handful of pecans
 I also got 10,658 steps
I was exhausted at work from lack of sleep, too many carbs, and bein slightly bummed at the turn of events. in talkin with friends there were several who lost long term pets yesterday and even a relative so apparently there was something goin on with the veil between the worlds and critters on the brink were bein called home en-mass.
that is all, I'm off today and I have TONS of stuff to do!

First Love Yourself!

what a great concept and one I am learning to embrace fully. listening to my body  is sometimes difficult when it doesn't agree with what my mind is telling me. I KNOW atkins works it's how I lost around 100 pounds and have kept it off, but the last few weeks I'm way too tired and cranky and the last 3 days I've been craving oatmeal, fruits, etc etc . and not in that it would taste good kinda way it's that intrinsic my body "NEEDS" it kinda way. I have no intention of going hog wild with the carbs but I'm gonna switch it up for a couple of weeks and see what happens. so I think I'm gonna switch over to weight watchers for the next couple and see if the larger grains/fruits allowed satiates my body and fulfills what I obviously am lacking in nutrients on the low carb spectrum.
the great thing about weight watchers is it will force me to focus on food lournaling again and to be super strict with portion control. neither of which matter whilst doin atkins.

I was planning a trek to the grocery store in the morning anyway so i'll make out a master list BEFORE going and put my ww calculator in my bag so there will be no guess work involved.
on the really good news my gym has FINALLY added 6am classes instead of the 9am, noon, 6pm classes they have traditionally had. the attachment wont open so I'm going to go by tomorrow and get the schedule and sign up for any that look promising (yoga, zumba, sweatin to the oldies) the only one I wont try is spin class my knee wont hold up to that and there's no way to modify it to work.
 lets see I ate:
bbq skins
hamburger patty
American cheese
ham
bacon
tomatoes
dill pickles
2tbs peanut butter
garlic with butter
and I got 6052 steps, way under my usual but I was STUCK to the register most of the night and had commitments this morning that kept me from goin to the gym.............almost 4000 steps short but i'll make it up tomorrow sometimes "life" happens!

Happy St Patrick’s Day everyone, and welcome to another Friend Makin’ Mondays. This was due to be my last week covering for Kenlie over at All The Weigh whilst she took a blogging break, but she has asked me to cover for her for another month. So you get me for a few weeks longer.
I thought it would be nice to get some input from you guys, so if anyone wanted to choose a topic and questions, feel free to email me sarahlou.scott@gmail.com and I would love to include some of your questions, this will also help me out when I am on vacation as I can schedule the posts in advance.
If you’ve taken part in FMM then you know the rules. Please invite your blog readers to add their links here too so everyone has to opportunity to be seen. The idea is to connect with other awesome bloggers so take a moment to post your own FMM post and comment on a couple of other posts. Now it’s time for this week’s topic!
Holiday Traditions.
1. Do you celebrate St Patrick’s Day?
i'll wear green but in America it's the "DRUNKEN" holiday and I do NOT drink so it kinda irritates me to no end.
2. Which is your favorite holiday to celebrate?
Halloween it's marvelously macabre!
3. Do you have a favorite ‘holiday’ food?
popcorn balls and candy apples for halloween
4. What do you think of holiday parades?
fun to be in, horrid to watch! lol
5. Have you ever been part of a parade?
I was in a couple of Christmas parades as a kid and I've done several gay pride parades
6. Do you decorate your house for the holidays?
Christmas and Halloween , of course I collect Elvira Mistress of the Dark memorabilia so my room always looks like Halloween! lol
7. Do you send holiday cards?
This past year was the 1st time I skipped hristmas cards I usually do around 100 and get mayhaps 5 back so I just said no and spent the money elsewhere. I also do just because mass cards a couple of times a year and always Halloween cards cause it's my fave day of the year!
8. Are there any holidays that you celebrate that are traditional in another country, but maybe less well known in the US?
not really , unless you count earth day because americans half ass it.
Hope you have enjoyed this weeks questions, I am excited to read all your answers and hope you will continue to come back next week.
Have a great day

lazy day and repercussions and fmm (a week late oops!)

well sometimes you play you pay or in my case you cheat when you eat and your body gives you "heat" lolol so I truly savored my bad bad breakfast from hardees. I did NOT enjoy being uninted with the porciline throne for the next 6 hours. yep yep yep that lil bit of fun cost me BIG time! I love my body and how it knows what is good for me and when I ignore it my body punishes its-self for my folly.
as for the rest of the day once I was able to eat I did pretty well
steak
turkey breast
bbq skins
beef hot dogs
garlic
bacon
Caesar salad
as for the rest of my day I watched 8 episodes of the avengers and as soon as I'm done here online I shall watch some more!
and as you can tell by the itty bitty picture blogger is bein an asshat AGAIN. I simply don't understand WHY I keep havin issues and it really irks me. I am a VERY visual person and I like.want/need my visual aides with my blogs. they make me happy. I just don't know how to fix it because every single time I get it working it always goes backwards after a few days, and it's only blogger I can post videos and pictures on every other site I belong to.

Hello, and welcome to another Friend Makin Monday. An extra special welcome to those of you who are new to FMM and have just found your way over here from http://alltheweigh.com
Vacations
My little sister is coming to visit me in two weeks from England and we are going on a mini vacation, so I thought that would be a great topic for this week’s FMM.
1. Where was the last place you went on vacation to?
Alabama to my 20 year high school reunion

2. Do you have any plans for a vacation this year?
tentatively, I was gonna visit my friend in may but her job is moving her next month into a hotel so she'll be househunting and such during that period in another state. so the time is earmarked but the destination is not.
3. If money was no option, where would you dream vacation be?
I'd love to travel the world and live with indigenous shamans and study (peru, new Zealand, australlia, india, etc etc)
4. What is your favorite vacation spot that you have visited?
provincetown mass

5. Have you ever had a staycation?
yes I   hadan injury/illness I simply couldn't get over working so much so I took a week last year just to get well
6. Are you a lie on the beach person or a go out and explore person?
I explore I hate the sun and am extremely caucasion (despite my heritage!lol)
7. When you fly do you have a favorite airline?
yes I LOVE southwest they're fabulous................as for delta they're horrid they got me stuck overnite in Atlanta gave me food vouchers for the airport where nothing was open and stuck me in a "smoking" room in a seedy hotel AWFUL AWFUL people!
8. Have you ever had a ‘vacation from hell’ ?
yes 2, the 1st time I came home after bein gone for 5 years was hideous, and the 2nd time I visited my best friend he seemed possessed and was a total asshat.
9. Have you ever had an airline lose your luggage?
no I take my 2 carry ons and that's it I do NOT check bags and all the goodies I buy that wont fit I box and mail to myself before I return home
10. Do you send postcards to friends and family when you go on vacation?
I generally have about 10 people I send them to.

This question I am extra interested to read your answers. In England we send greeting cards all the time and write letters and every time we would go on vacation (or holiday as they say in England) we would send numerous postcards to family and friends. I still do it now when I go away, I always send cards to family and friends in England, but interestingly I don’t send cards to anyone in the US. I think this maybe it cultural thing as I find hardly anyone here sends cards for anything (or maybe it’s a Californian thing). Let me know. Also talking of postcards, if you do like to send and receive postcards, you might want to check out http://postcrossing.com I have been a member for nearly two years now and I love sending cards to random people and receiving them, I have sent and received over 200.
Hope you have enjoyed this weeks questions, I am excited to read all your answers and hope you will continue to come back and participate next week.
Have a great day

the perfect storm

y'all all heard about the perfet storm when all the crap lines up to become hellacious...........we'll me at work by myself, full moon, st patricks day! mercy o'myer it was pert neer horrible and I really wanted to choke someone down and stomp on their head!  lolol store was horrid, and then my relief called out an hour before I was supposed to leave (we have a 4hour minimum call out policy) I was too frazzled and I couldn't stay like I normally do so I told em I'm taking the garbage out and I'm going. even that was apparently too much because as I got close to the dumpsters (behind cement walls and a gate) a HUGE german shepard comes around the corner growling with teeth barred and I was like F it , backed up clocked out and said "y'all take the garbage out, I don't need rabies I done seen criminal minds this week!" and I booked. I have tons of groceries and the thought of even using a toaster over was too exhausting to bear so I got biscuits from hardees on the way home. I had coupons for 2 bacon egg and cheese for $3 , I gave the egg to my roomie cause eggs and me don't see eye to eye most times........................
mayhaps I should have unleashed "TIMwanda" on em! lmao
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kXZs3mjGlQU

and of course just to icing my day blogger is once again refusing to cooperate with video and pictures! so I had to save, copy and paste the video I wanted because one way or another a link was gonna be shared!!! lmao I shall NEVER give in!
I ate;
bacon/cheese biscuits (2)
steak
peanut butter (2 tbs)
bbq skins
 salt and pepper skins
cashews
mozzarella
American cheese
Vienna sausages
gravy biscuit
I got 12,871 steps because I was mainly shackled to the register and I work smart!
that's all I am gonna watch me some avengers (the awesome british show) and chillax
but things are looking up I have some FANTASTICLE news I just cant share yet, don't wanna jinx it!
oh yeah and I forgot I lost 1 pound this week even with cheating so YIPPIE me! down to 211

taste of india

VERY low key day and whew I needed one! I went to my luncheon with friend and was wonderfully surprised by the quality of the food. the buffet was hot and delcicious. I ate my fill but didn't overfill to that point of misery (but was tempted, it was THAT good!)
my friend even had printed a 15% off coupon from their webpage so it was only $7.25............
I ate :
green salad: cucumbers/lettuce/tomatoes and garnished with lentil wafers
naan: fried bread (1 piece)
poori: deep fried puffy bread (1 piece)
basmati khazana : rice
murg tikka: chicken
murg in curry sauce: chicken

I also had a handful of Cheetos and that's all I ate for the day, so not too bad at all! I also drank water with the meal, lots of water as it was spicy (GOOD spicy! flavorful and not just heat) a very good day!
I was inspired by a pic I saw of a baby (1 year old) who appeared downs syndrome but had the most lovely/breathtaking smile with her tongue stuck out laughing away it put me in the best of moods (I shared it on facebook if you have my page there) I was inspired to do my own version because anyone smiling like that deserves a smile back from all of us!  so here's my version:
blogger is bein stupid about pics AGAIN and wont upload I copied and pasted this one but it refuses to enlarge it, y'all shall NOT damage my calm! lmao and therefore I shall end this post before it happens...............................have a GREAT day Y'all! xoxoxoxo

the real world/bollywood!

as y'all know every plan must face the REAL WORLD on occasion when there are few if any or mayhaps even no on plan options. a friend is doing me a favor so I offered lunch and she really insisted that we go to an indian buffet I've never been to. my experience with indian food is limited (I've been to 2 eateries and a couple of festivals) so I have no clue what my options will be. I ate some bbq skins to dull the edge of my appetite but if I see something I want I shal have some of it, some NOT all! lolol moderation shall be the key. I feel fine with this decision and plan to enjoy myself, but an extra bit of sweat tonightwill make me feel even better as I'm off work and can go to the gym when it's empty. I confess others get on my nerves when they hog machines to socialize in groups and such.............I know y'all are SHOCKED that timmy has no patience! lololol
as for yesterday it was good
chicken breast
dill pickle (large)
cole slaw
shrimp
cube steak
cheddar cheese
pecans and I got 14266 steps
I feel like my portions are still a bit too large and I may have to invest in a scale instead of guesstimating sizes. growing up on a farm I have always eaten a HUGE amount of food but of course I needed it back then when I was feeding cows, working in the fields, etc etc now not so much! lolol
feely like some Bollywood may be in my future later today so gonna get my "groove" on!

mystery joint pain and the avengers

I was kinda sleepy so I went to bed and slept almost 10 hours yesterday and I woke up feelin great but after about 2 hours at work my knees and fingers were killing meand my neck started getting stiff. absolutely no clue what set this off I haven't eaten anything unusual or overly salty. took some aleve and just waiting for it to kick in. gonna do some yoga when I get off here cause staying limber will certainly help with aches and pains. it was 48 last night so it's not even a "cold" issue.
besides that a great day I ate well and according to plan
chicken breast
bbq skins
pepperoni (just a handful)
pork loin
Caesar salad
tbs peanut butter (snack)
chicken salad
I walked 12,040 steps
my work schedule has been screwed up as of late and I'm normally off on Mondays but alas I had to work which sucked not because I mind working but because my emma peel megaset of the avengers came in late yesterday afternoon and I'd rather have been watching that than working! it's all 3 seasons , 51 episodes, on 16 discs of emma peel. the avengers was one of the best shows EVER. absolutely the height of british tv and Diana rigg aka emma peel was the pinnacle of the long running series. back in the day it was broadcast here in America by abc at 10pm and they paid the unheard of sum of one million dollars a season to broadcast it. it never quite caught on here with the unwashed masses but achieved a huge cult following which it still has to this day. there were even 3 episodes that NEVER aired in the US because her clothes were considered to "daring" for American tv! lol
for those of you who aren't quite sure who she is she was tracey in the james bond film where he gets married. they killed her in the last scene. she is currently on game of thrones.
I'm bummed because I wanted to do a marathon of episodes and since I don't get off till Thursday that simply SUCKS! lmao patience is NOT a virtue I have cultivated in this lifetime!

I ate:
steak
pork chop
bbq skins
cashews
cole slaw
deviled eggs
salad with blue cheese
what I did do was get to level 90 on my warlock on WOW
and I watched dune scifi version with William hurt
and children of dune
and just so we have a totally positive blog lets end with some more deeks

a good/bad day!

I had a good day that was horrible! LMAO it's all about perceptions. it's like the old lady who's children sold everything she owned after she went blind and stuck her in a home. on her first day after they put her in her room and a nurse came by to see how she was settling in. she said " I LOVE IT!" and the nurse was shocked, well that's good but how can you tell............"I decided I love it so I will." so knowing I was by myself on a Friday night I KNEW it was gonna be horrid, but I woke up looked in the mirror and said "it's gonna be a GREAT night!" and so it was despite all the people, work, craziness etc etc . mind over matter indeed!
on the food front I did good as well
turkey burgers
bologna
hot dogs
peanuts
chicken breast
cole slaw
salt and pepper skins
I actually drakn water along with my diet dew.
I did sweatin to the oldies 3
and walked 2 miles on the treadmill.
I took 14752 steps (including the 2 miles)
.............I keep telling myself to hang in till may and I get a vaca

progress shots and planning ahead

well I decided it was time for the (used to be) dreaded progress shots, cause honestly my idea of me has been so skewed for so long I cant tell just by looking in the mirror and while clothes getting smaller is proof I'm a visual kinda guy!
not a HUGE difference but (left is old right is current) I can definitely see it in my face and the stomach is slightly smaller (now I gotta work on the wideness!) the hair is DEFINATELY longer! lmao so I'm happy with the progress! but it does show y'allthe year I had last year. I'm down about 8 pounds overall for 2013, but a loss is a loss and i'll take it..........for 2014 I'm gonna get to goal weight bu golly!  (170) I'm 212 right now so the goal is to lose 42 pounds from now til December. that's 4.2 pounds a month. I can and WILL do that! and when I get to goal I'm gonna take photos in a speedo on the beach and post!
now for todays inspiration I'm gonna use Jessica simpson. that a celebrity fights the same battles and has the same struggles even with all the resources at their disposal makes me feel like less of a loser and more connected to humanity's struggles with this horrid problem!
and just so y'all know I intend to become an expert on this issue and share my struggle with the world and pay it forward for all the help/encouragement/support I've been given over the course of this journey............................
one of these days WWTD (what would tara do) is gonna become
WHAT WOULD TIMOTHY DO!
yes I did! I'm throwin the gauntlet at myself and stepping into some HUGE shoes that filling isn't gonna be easy. because Tara is a BEAST and a HUGE inspiration to me, but honestly if she can do it I can do it (and so can Y'all! ) so lets grab this bull (fat) by the horns wrestle it to the ground and give it a big ole kiss goodbye!

I'm a Gemini so duality is always in me and that can be a problem because those occasional voices of doubt y'all get are pretty much LOUDLY debating ach other all the time for me. I can see/feel/hear every angle simultaneously which is great for work but insanity when trying to focus on a single task. I have given my voices form the positive wonderful gung ho you can do it voice is my Richard simmons one pound at a time doll we shall call her Ola (after my grandama)

the pain in the ass horrid doubtful told you so loser I created myself and he is shithead the scale a frenemy if ever there was one.............
so we're gonna listen to Ola and IGNORE shithead!
I also have decided to start moving every single day no days off for me or I backslide into immobility. so I may only get to the gym a few times a week but I have my secret weapons in the dvds I actually love to do. I have 33 exercise dvds, now I admit some of them I don't like and am not good at because of my knee issues. I ADORE jillian michaels but her work outs kill my knee, I enjoy the biggest loser ones better because they're geared more for people with issues. my three all time faves though I always enjoy so why oh why haven't I been doin them regularly???? no answer but that doent matter because as of NOW they're put right in front of my tv and I shant watch tv until AFTER I have worked out each day (that includes playing WOW)
Richard Simmons sweatin to the oldies, I LOVE Richard and the workouts are a hoot
Aaron starr's hot nude yoga, hey eye candy makes me work "HARDER" ~giggle~
Dolphina and the Goddess Workout centers and energizes me and it's fun too
so lets do the checklist................
1. supplies in stock..............CHECK
2. motivated and ready to go.................CHECK
3. determination in place.....................CHECK
4. bullshit meter charged and in place.....................CHECK
5.brian clear and focused on goals.....................CHECK
6.gym bag packed and by door....................CHECK
7.lunch for work made according to plan.............CHECK
8. dvd in player working out as soon as this is finished...............CHECK
9. doubts beaten into submission....................CHECK
10. 3,2,1 BEGIN........................CHECK!

back on track................

the minute I'm typing back on track I'm haring it set to back in black by ac/dc so hells to the yeah, ROCK ON!
lolol that was fun/surprising!   had a pretty good day/night my eating was on track and on portion control too! I KNOW eating too much is what slows me down so I'm merely gonna have to limit myself and use my will-power to do it. it's soooooooooo much easier whilst I drink the diet dew because I LOVE the taste and it whets my appetite. I would honestly do without food to get diet dew if I only had money for one or the other. soooooooooo sounds like an addcition doesn't it? oh well as long as it gets me thin I honestly don't care. I want to be healthy but honestly that's an offshoot of bein thin to me. the thin is the focus....................so sue me I'm vain and I understand that shallowness in me so why not use it to my advantage and be BOTH!
lololololol
so according to this I'm merely overweight by.......................30 pounds with 180 bein "normal" I can get there but I'd prefer 170ish to have some "wiggle" room!
if this one didn't getcha movin check your pulse mayhaps you're DEAD!
absolutely and I'm better than I was yesterday but i'll be better still tomorrow!

and I do do that! lolol

fmm on a wed and weigh in

kk 1st I did a mid week weigh-in just to see because I've been stuck at 214 for months now, well like I thought switching back to diet dew that I enjoy has helped me cut back portion wise and I dropped 2 pounds so I'm at 212 right now! YIPPIE!

snow day UGH!

well today sucks! I dislike snow intensely! while I'm thankful the storm appears to be less than expected I'm still snowed in. there probably wont be any plows till tomorrow for side roads and developments so I made the decision to call out around 2 (we're required to call out 6 hours before a shift) since I was due in at 10pm. that's way more time than needed but I had to make a judgment call. not goin into details (for legal reasons) but lets just say after 4 years of employment NOT what I deserved/expected GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!
this is what my front door looked like when I checked conditions
and this is my front yard and the road.......... EXACTLY! lolol

otherwise doin ok........... got 11202 steps yesterday. did the Goddess Workout. drank 1/2 gallon water, diet dew and about 2 quarts of crystal light.
I ate:
pork chops

an unpopular decision

well I have made a decision and I know it's gonna be an unpopular one with my health conscious peeps. I have been forcing myself to drink water for months and months now and I still HATE it, not simply dislike it I HATE it. it makes me gag and yet I've gagged it down because I KNEW it was healthy, it cleans out the body, it helps you lose weight etc etc. except I lost no weight and never enjoyed it. so I have decided to allow myself to drink diet soda again. oh I'm gonna limit it and drink a glass of water for every glass of pop but there it is. so wish me luck, but don't bother to chastise me or tell me the horror stories because I KNOW them. I've understood it and still I enjoy it, I don't smoke, drink, do drugs, eat sugar so I'm gonna do the diet dew when I feel like it. so that's where I'm at and I feel very positive and like a BIG ole weight is off my shoulders. I can actually enjoy my beverages again ..................AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

LOLOLOL BEEN THERE DONE THAT!!!!!
