could there be hope
can i see light
something shining faintly
at the edge of my night
it flickers and sputters
refusing to die
banishing sorrow by and by
though i still hurt
and feel life grim
i'll carry on with this whim
loves never wrong
not good nor bad
its just something that sparks
then shines really brite
if i had chose wisely
would that make it right
so he won't love me
worlds never end
sorrow gives way
time to start over again
