lets be honest I don't really enjoy the fair its self I enjoy the animals and eating (not neccesarily in that order) hmmm lets see what did I eat last year...............corn dog, taco, candy apple, fries, fish sandwich, pickle, cotton candy, hot dog and I rode ONE ride! lol spent 4 hours playin with the ponies. it was hot and not fun so I decided to skip it because all I think of is food and bad ood at that it doesn't even taste good, it's the memory filter that we see everything thru. the it was so fun when I was a kid I want my kid/nieces/nephews/god children to enjoy it like I did, but did you really or do you just think you did? lol things that make you go hmmmmmmmmmmm indeed!

for todays food I had:
pecans
oatmeal
pepperoni
bologna
American cheese
scrambled eggs
Vienna sausage
bbq pork skins
chicken breast
ramen noodles
doin ok carb wise but still not where I want to be. I'd say 85% now that the fairs over and we have people coming back off vaca it should level off.
onto I don't know what to think this is the just revealed new costume for Wonder Woman, i'll say it's not as horrid as those bloody awful hot pants and bolero jacket they tried a few years ago but I'm on the fence!
for me Lynda Carter will always epitomize Wonder Woman!

Heck yes, the memory of food is always so much stronger. It's because food is the anchor and all of the other emotions of the moment get twisted and wrapped up in the anchor...so we perceive the food as the good feeling!
ReplyDeleteFairs have changed. It used to be about the farmers showing their best animals, midway rides and community events. Sure there were food stalls but not as many as now. It seems here anyway the number of junk food stalls is just overwhelming. Good for you for making the right decision for you this year :)

I'm HOPING that the costume is what she's wearing when they discover her and not the end result. but of course she was created to help foster patriotism and the movie makers make more cash overseas so they don't want her associated with America.
